The purpose of the Fellows program is to support the programs of the Oakland County Bar Foundation. Membership in the Fellows is evidence of professional distinction and constitutes a professional honor. The number of Fellows is limited to not more than 5% of the total active membership of the State Bar of Michigan who practice in Oakland County. Our Fellows program also encourages non-lawyer members.
In addition to the distinction of being invited to be a Fellow, there are some unique advantages and privileges:
- Your name will be inscribed on the permanent Fellows’ plaque now installed at the Oakland County Courthouse;
- You will be invited to the annual Fellows’ reception honoring those who support the charitable works of the OCBF; and
- You will receive a commemorative Pewabic tile.
A Fellow is designated by a pledge of $1,000. A Charter Fellow is designated by a pledge of $5,000.
