The OCBA’s committees keep members informed of significant developments in their areas of practice and shape association policy on issues of professional concern. Participation in a committee is a great way to meet your peers and to show your support and interest in your area of practice.
Committee members gather, usually once a month, to discuss developments within substantive areas of the law and react to or suggest changes to improve the legal system. Networking, and sharing ideas and tips from fellow OCBA members are just a few of the benefits you can expect from committee participation. In addition to regular business meetings, many committees host special events and fun off-site social activities.
We invite you to learn more about the dozens of committees organized and run by OCBA members, for OCBA members, with support from OCBA staff liaisons. To join a committee email the staff liaison listed in the committee description or download the OCBA Committees form and return it to Katie Tillinger.
