Course Description: In criminal cases involving an vehicle collision, knowing what to look for and understanding the findings in an accident reconstruction report can be paramount. Michigan State Police Sergeant Timothy Robbins is a Traffic Crash Reconstruction Specialist with more than 900 hours of traffic crash investigation training, including automotive electronics and brake systems. He has been involved in over 500 crash investigations and reconstructions, and has testified as an expert (both in court and deposition) more than 70 times since 1999. Sgt. Robbins will discuss the process of investigating traffic accidents, creating a reconstruction report, and examining the expert witnesses in these cases.
