Course Description:  Noted expert, Kenneth Mogill, will discuss defense counsel's obligations from the initial consultation with a new client to verdict. Topics of discussion will include:

  • Criminal fee agreements (flat-fee, non-refundable retainer);
  • An attorney's ability to "fire" a client;
  • The subpoena power of defense counsel;
  • Social media posting during and after a trial.
