Course Description: Attorneys must act as both counselor to and advocate for their clients. In family law cases, where emotions and stress levels are particularly high, sometimes clients don't want to follow their attorney's recommendations. What happens in court in these situations? Our panelists will offer practice pointers for acting as both counselor and advocate when the client won't take the attorney's advice.
