The OCBA presents its all-new "Court Rules" series detailing best practices in the courtroom. This month's presentation covers criminal cases in Oakland County Circuit Court.


Speakers:  Honorable Leo BowmanHonorable Hala Jarbou and Honorable Michael Warren; and Victoria B. King, Staff Attorney to Judge Bowman. 

Moderator:  J. Randall Secontine, Esq. 


Course Description:  Each “Court Rules” seminar is a unique primer on best advocacy practices in Oakland County Courts from the court personnel who work there. The first half of each session is presented by a judicial staff attorney on effective motion practice and other pretrial matters. The second part is a moderated panel of judges discussing the do’s and don’ts of representing a client in their courtrooms.  

This seminar is part of the OCBA U - programs designed to help you grow your career by sharing the knowledge and skills you need.  

Continuing Legal Education credit is available for attorneys having criminal assignment requirements.  This presentation will not be taped; attorneys needing CLE credit must attend the live seminar.
