Senior Law Day Events

Learn more about the legal issues important to our growing senior citizen population.

Senior citizens and their family members are invited to attend this extremely popular event. Senior Law Day is an invaluable resource that helps to educate senior citizens and/or their adult children on the areas of law that impact seniors. Thanks to the support of the Oakland County Bar Foundation, there is no cost to attend.

Attendees can choose from several informational sessions presented by local attorneys. Topics include Wills and Trusts, Medical Power of Attorney, Michigan Estate Recovery Plan, and Guardianships/Conservatorships. There is also an Ask-A-Lawyer session where participants are able to speak with an attorney one-on-one.

Senior Law Days are held each May at the Waterford Senior Center in Waterford, and each September at the Costick Center in Farmington Hills. Additional locations are added each year, so watch the Events listing on the OCBA home page!

For more program information or to register to attend, complete the Senior Law Day Registration Form.
