Originally created in 1986, the purpose of Pretrial Services is to provide neutral, verified information that assists judicial officers in making an informed decision regarding bail and to provide monitoring, supervision and support to defendants on conditional release.

This seminar provides an analysis of that process in Oakland County, including changes necessitated by the Covid-19 outbreak. Our speaker will discuss national trends in bail reform and other initiatives and how they compare to what we do in Michigan.
