PALS (Providing Access to Legal Services) Committee
If you have a passion for promoting and improving access to legal services for all, you can reach out and make a difference in the Oakland County community with the PALS Committee.
The Providing Access to Legal Services (PALS) Committee develops and hosts programs that provide legal assistance and an understanding of the legal system within the community. The activities of this committee help emphasize the positive presence of lawyers in society.
The Providing Access to Legal Services Committee (PALS) promotes community access to legal services by way of pro bono legal advice and general education to the public. The PALS Committee also strives to provide the public with an opportunity to interact with and access the local bar and available community resources as needed.
Committee members help plan and implement a variety of legal assistance and educational programs throughout the year. The PALS Committee meets with the Law Related Education Committee on the third Monday of each month at 5:00 p.m. at the OCBA offices in Bloomfield Hills. Please join us!
To join the PALS Committee, email Merri Lee Jones or call the OCBA at (248) 334-3400.
